Event Ticket Sales – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase, possession, and use of tickets ("Tickets") for the event ("Event") held in New York State and produced by The Bronx Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. ("Organizer," "we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing or using a Ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Ticket Purchase & Admission
Each Ticket admits one (1) person to the Event, subject to the Event’s rules, capacity limits, and venue policies.
Tickets are valid only for the date, time, and location specified.
Admission may require presentation of a valid Ticket (printed or digital) and, if applicable, a valid government-issued photo ID.
2. No Refunds / All Sales Final
All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except as expressly stated herein or as required by applicable law.
No refunds will be issued for failure to attend the Event, late arrival, weather conditions, changes in personal circumstances, or dissatisfaction with the Event.
3. Ticket Transfers
Tickets are transferable to another individual prior to the Event, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
The original purchaser is responsible for ensuring the transferee receives the Ticket and agrees to these Terms.
Unauthorized resale, duplication, or fraudulent use of Tickets is prohibited and may result in denial of admission without refund.
4. Event Changes, Postponement, or Cancellation
The Organizer reserves the right to modify the Event program, speakers, performers, schedule, or venue as reasonably necessary.
If the Event is postponed, Tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date.
If the Event is canceled and not rescheduled, the Organizer’s sole obligation will be to provide a refund of the ticket purchase price (excluding service or processing fees), unless otherwise required by law.
5. Venue Rules & Conduct
Attendees must comply with all venue rules, regulations, and instructions of Event staff and security.
The Organizer reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee whose conduct is deemed disorderly, disruptive, unsafe, or in violation of these Terms, without refund.
6. Assumption of Risk
Attendance at the Event is at the attendee’s own risk.
By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks incidental to the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or loss.
7. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by New York law, you agree to release, waive, and hold harmless the Organizer, venue, sponsors, partners, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to your attendance at the Event.
8. Photography, Audio & Video Recording
The Event may be photographed, recorded, or filmed.
By attending, you grant the Organizer the irrevocable right to use your name, image, likeness, and voice in any media for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes, without compensation.
9. Force Majeure
The Organizer shall not be liable for delays, changes, or cancellation caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government orders, public health emergencies, labor disputes, or venue unavailability.
10. Prohibited Items
Certain items may be prohibited at the Event at the sole discretion of the Organizer or venue. Confiscated items will not be returned.
11. Accessibility
The Organizer strives to comply with applicable accessibility laws. Requests for reasonable accommodations should be submitted in advance to info@BronxDayInAlbany.com.
12. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Event shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Organizer and the ticket holder regarding Ticket purchase and Event attendance.

16. Checkout Acknowledgment
By completing your ticket purchase, you acknowledge and agree that all ticket sales are final and non-refundable, tickets are transferable, and your attendance is subject to the Event Ticket Sales Terms and Conditions. You further acknowledge that the Event may be photographed or recorded and that you agree to the release of liability and governing law provisions contained therein.
By purchasing or using a Ticket, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
